Its almost worth it to just place multiple orders for this part I need, and hope that one makes it through...sigh

i got some update
i called fedex and they said it's been seized, and that the shipper, which will be uncompany in this case, will need to call fedex to request the items shipped back to hk otherwise it will be destroyed

it's a relief for me as now that means they wont get destroyed. and this all means i've been given an extra ball

There's your problem; receivers are a toss up when importing. If you are not looking for anything specific when it comes to armalite receivers, there are many in the classifieds going for good prices.

Dude, receivers are restricted. "The shell only" as you say, IS the restricted part.
