Just joined the gbbr band wagon with a VFC Colt M4A1 with NPAS.

Look at this vanilla beauty:

So clean and simple, I'm mitigated if I wanna spoil it and add accessories and rails on it.

I'm seeing alot of MAGPUL craziness here, so I'm gonna bump it back a notch, to when it was more about the shooter's ability than the bling on his rifle, I'm talking C8 :P

Yes, I know it's got Colt trades, but until I have the $/can get a black WE Lower to get engraved, there's not much I can do about that

Aren't you essentially admitting you're building something inferior if you bump it back a notch?

No, just what Assault Pioneer said

"This was one of the formal weapons of a Canadian Soldier. Not as clumsy or random as an AK. More skill than simple sight was required for its use. An elegant weapon. It was a symbol as well. Anyone can use an AK or a magpul gun—but to use a C8 well was a mark of someone a cut above the ordinary."

But you do realize that all of the magpul innovations are made for ACTUAL shooters who ACTUALLY shoot. So the intent behind having them on your real steel rifle is to increase your ability to do so. I think a few people would be offended being called magpul whores who are utilizing magpul innovations for a more comfortable / ergonomic / efficient grip of the weapon. Airsoft is ultimately about replicating current real-steel trends. Considering none of these are real guns and you'd do just as well watching the stream of bb's with no sight at all.... everything you do to an airsoft gun counts as "bling".

plus.. I'd call that PEQ he has on the front a little blingy...

You're making it seem as though by using a C8, you're better than others by some amount because you chose to use it over something else (improved or not).

you insult me by assuming I don't know what Magpul is.

but this is airsoft, not real steel, so it's just a brand name in this case, airsoft is about simulating war and playing a team based game, not trends. that's collecting

Sad but true for many... But not for some...

There are people here who use their AS as trainers for their RS .. and a GBBR will cure you of "watch the stream" aiming quick with real cap mags and limited sustained auto capability.

The wide proliferation of usable GBBR guns is changing the game in some quarters... and grinding the "gamers" out of the game

Oh its about simulating war... crap.. I'll make sure my next kit doesn't include designer sunglasses and a hand painted plate carrier.

SEAL team 10... painted frog design on the back of their plate carriers and often seen wearing oakley's like most operators in the area...
I was talking about playing the actual game, it's about going to the field with your friends, it's not about having a hard time distinguishing the difference between RS and AS and calling someone's weapon inferior even though they are exactly the same beside external differences that don't have a certain logo on them or a reputable real steel company. his is no different than the other GBBR's he just kept the Gucci away from it, it's not "inferior" it's the same gun.

but nice try at sarcasm bro.
