scottyfox June 22nd, 2012 21:17

Either of my TM next gen SOPMODs easy.
The only thing better is a PTW.

XON50 June 22nd, 2012 21:37

JG HK416. had it for 4 years, no upgrades, over 10,000 rounds fired, dragged it through hell and back, sold it and its still going strong for its new owner.

g&p USMC Sam-R. Ask anybody in Manitoba about Samantha. Me and KinG held back entire teams with the Samantha Bertha tandem. Throw That crazy french bastard in the mix and dear god yes that was a sexy party. My Real Sword Type 56-1 is a close 2nd.

Kos-Mos June 22nd, 2012 23:01

Out of the box:
CYMA M14 SOCOM
SRC MG36 Gen3

Modded:
ICS M4 Novesque (after a lot of work)
TM P90 (got it broken)
CYMA AK74u (broken too, but a new set of gears and shim job made it a monster)

Second place is my AGM MP44.

Swattiger June 22nd, 2012 23:32

Magpul PTS with full Systema internals, the first Magpul airsoft gun, excellent performance right out of the box, no upgrade or babysitting required, also a rare item. A gun with good performance and collection value.

Death March June 24th, 2012 02:08

First would be my PTW I'v been using for the past five years, then my ICS M4 thats six years old.

Cliffradical June 24th, 2012 04:27

I think it'll be my clone sorcery AK105SU. I've got a lot of experience going into this gun, and while the parts selection is a bit of a mixed bag, It's all proven to work together.
Maybe it'll be a dud, maybe it'll be a magic bullet, but either way I'm excited about it!

Troy T. Moore June 24th, 2012 07:12

Real Sword Type 56. M120 spring, 455mm 6.03mm prometheus barrel, ARS bucking. 45,000 rounds or more and the pinion gear on the motor lost a tooth. 10 min to change that and back in business. Has never let me down in function and externally is extremely durable.

Gato June 24th, 2012 07:33

Only problem with PTWs is the lack of AK :D

vondnik June 24th, 2012 08:18

Any amd all of my tm eags have been superb guns evrything else has been a load of issues and unreliable as hell( classic army, vfc, g&g, g&p, star and echo). My top lmgs omce well tuned and upgraded have served me well also.

Aper June 24th, 2012 09:04

I owned a lot of AEGs back then, but by far my 2 TM AKs (Spetsnaz and AK-47S) have been golden for me.

damage June 24th, 2012 20:53

KA M4 CQB and SYSTEMA PTW.

Well not to be a hypocrite but the best Airsoft(in general) out there is the gun owned by a airsoft gunsmith. Why? He has all the time in the world to tinker with his guns and poured lots of love to make it shoot reliable, durable and accurate. ; )

Slow June 24th, 2012 21:03

Seconded.

Everything Real Sword I own kicks an insane quantity of ass. It will always remain faithful to you no matter how badly you beat the hell out of it. The SVD in particular probably hates me for how I treat it.

Styrak June 25th, 2012 00:08

My current G&G Sig550.

RosettaStoned June 25th, 2012 14:06

KA M&P15. My first legit AEG and IMO the most reliable and straightest shooter I've owned, not to mention it has legit trades modelled after a real firearm.

Eeyore June 25th, 2012 14:11

A&K Masada, Im not joking.

thats funny, my CA RPK stripped the piston first game, and never fed properly:P

My best gun was my CA M249MKII, I remember doing training and dumping the entire box mag within 5 minutes, didnt even get warm:P I never would have sold it but i needed a down payment for my bike. Running an A&K M60VN now and its just not the same. The Rambo factor adds to the bad-assery, but it just isnt my 249. I'm hoping to pick another one up as soon as i can:D

Thenooblord July 1st, 2012 22:33

AGM STG44, stock it was OK, but I did a full custom rebuild and it was the the most accurate and consistent gun I'd ever used, and built like a brick shithouse... I miss that gun.

morati July 3rd, 2012 19:45

Systema PTW

mr_nuts31 July 5th, 2012 00:48

I would have to say my MK 12 Mod 0 which I built from a pile of parts. The reason why I find it better is because I built it myself with all the parts I wanted into it and it's tuned for my style. There's something about building your own that gives it a certain quality that you can't find on anything you can buy. Anybody who does D.I.Y. would know what I'm talking about.

Cheeseman December 27th, 2012 16:15

CA 249

Dboys 74 (internal re-haul + rails)

Rusty Lugnuts December 27th, 2012 16:26

Thompson A1M1 No joking FPS is +or- 1 fps Shoots far and straight, way more kills than my other 4 guns put together

ThunderCactus December 27th, 2012 16:39

G&P 249, longest run for me without breaking down
also one of the longest running high performance AEGs I know of without breaking down

spaceman13 December 27th, 2012 17:16

My Tokyo Marui AUG A1,I miss it so much.Quiet and consistent.

Ricochet December 27th, 2012 17:40

#1 - Systema PTW M16A3 / M4A1 (Best all around)
#2 - Star UMP (Best not Systema)
#3 - Tokyo Marui G3SG1 (Most missed)

XZIVR December 27th, 2012 17:44

Right now I have a fully built m4 that is by all practical definitions the 'best' AEG I have ever owned, but my first, and overall favorite AEG, was my TM P90. Miss that thing.. :(

I second that actually. Bugger took a ride down 2 stories of stairs after taking a dip in the pool 2 days earlier and was just fine... Save the fire selector on one side falling off. But that was an easy fix with an allen key. I'm amazed at how well it has held up and performed considering the abuse it has been subjected to. 6 months, 9,500+ rounds, never had to open it up once.

Duilin December 27th, 2012 20:16

Either my old TM AK47, only upgraded with a tightbore, or my TM M14 full length, totally stock. those guns worked, and they worked well.

Janus December 27th, 2012 20:20

TM Famas G2

Say what you will about the EG560-HT motor and the V1 mechbox, that AEG worked like a fucking champ.

Spike December 27th, 2012 20:37

My G&P Stoner 63. I've dumped 50000 rounds through that sucker already with 0 failures.

Jimski December 27th, 2012 20:58

None and especially not out of the box...they all have stupid flaws.

GBBR December 27th, 2012 21:03

you guys are going to laugh at me.

Ares G36. So accurate. fps is always the same. -/+ 5 fps.
Survived Splatters. takes 11.1 lipo like a champ. had it since I started. outlived all 6 aegs I've owned.

Porkchop December 27th, 2012 21:10

G3A3 bought in 1998 -2 repairs- still operational today.

Is that the same Marui from Hotshot??

This was my list - Tokyo Marui/Classic Army HK51, Inokatsu M60 E3, VN and MK43, PTW & PTW5 But I'm afraid the FCC PTW is taking its place

Curo December 27th, 2012 21:50

a tie between my old proline CA SCAR-L that thing shot 320 fps like a laser. DMR accurate and never broke down. And my new G&P upgraded CQBR.

But my favourite is my WE Hk416 GBBR.

the old maruis are tanks.
had a mash of systema/whatever upgrades in mine, new mechbox shell, CA metal body, I think it was 7 yrs old and still shot like a sniper rifle lol

Tm ak47

Strelok January 30th, 2013 12:19

Currently, My Echo1 RPK after it being upgraded to the tits.

As for an unupgraded gun? My ICS M3 Grease Gun is a goddamned laser. Nice ROF and incredibly accurate.

skalnok January 30th, 2013 12:23

My ares g36k (first ebb generation to come pre upgraded into Canada) is by far my most reliable rifle, it's accurate, and the only issue I've had since buying it was the hop up tore this summer and that was from dust going into it.

Repeat January 30th, 2013 12:30

G&P Stoner. It's a tank! I've put bag after bag of BB's through it, and never once had any problems with it.

Alexei January 30th, 2013 12:32

Real Sword type 56-1 Out of the box, Does not need to be upgraded.

McCrea January 30th, 2013 12:34

Right now I'm torn between my AGM Sten MKII (completely stock, 300 fps, shoots .36 bb like a laser, couple of axis player fear it ;) or my G&P Stoner Mk63, dumped about 4000 in a game and it has never let me down, all stock.

theshaneler January 30th, 2013 12:51

2008 version Systema CQBr. absolutely love it and have never had issues with it.
cost an arm and a leg, but if i added up all the money i spent on fixing guns in the past 6-7 years, i have spent way more than a cost of a PTW.

Matula January 30th, 2013 12:56

Tu nous montreras ça :)

Custom Fraken Troy M4 CQB Short stroked set up that has been running for 4 years straight with no issues whatsoever. the gun doc who set it up for me is one of the old gun docs from UNcompany. the gun shoots at a steady rate of 25 - 28 RPS on 11.1v lipo and has been running on lipo since 2009 with over 100K rounds through it :) only thing changed was probably the hop up rubber since it wears down but haven't even opened the gearbox up since it was built :)

Jimski January 30th, 2013 14:01

none of them was 'best', they were all either pot metal flimsy bitches or pot metal ugly tanks.
They all sucked out of the box and I loved them all.

Adikus January 30th, 2013 16:33

#1 - CA G36C
#2 - TM P90

G36c has lasted me 7 years with no internal problems and still going. I've exterior problems (cracked after being dropped) but nothing internally.

Invasian January 30th, 2013 16:43

Went through CA G36C, G&P M4....nothing but issues, even after upgrades...

Upgraded my TM MP5K over 5 years ago....replaced the trigger switch once since then....still mowing people down even a few weeks ago...

Upgraded my TM G36C over 5 years ago.....to quote my team member:

"My most reliable AEG ever".....

however...just last year I popped my PTW cherry.....and i can safely say...Thats the best AEG I have ever owned....but i still love the rest...:)

Debrief January 30th, 2013 17:00

Best Externals: VFC AK74N
Best Overall: VFC HK417
Favorite: CA G36K, always wanted one, waited through my teens to turn 18 and get AV'd before I finally got one.

leblanc74 January 30th, 2013 19:16

Before....my customized real steal PTW's...sold them with great regrets....Now, my customized G&P with almost everything from real steal

Redneck Jimbo January 31st, 2013 01:51

CA MP5A3 with Modify drop in gears and unknown hopup ruber and unknown 6.03mm barrle with sistema high tork motor. 350 FPS with +/- 5 FPS drop. baught it used, 3ed owner in 2006 and never gave me trouble. Ugly and I beat that thing like the red headed step child and it just kept on kicking. I miss that thing.
second is TM M14 with Redwolf upgrade to 440FPS. Its my first gun baught in 04 I think, its settled down to380 FPS +/- 2 FPS. only had to re saulder the conecter to the triger plate once and its still going strong.

Styrak January 31st, 2013 02:53

Might have posted here already but whatever, the thread came up again:

My current rifle, G&G Sig550. It has a steel upper and lower receiver like the real one, and everything else is also identical to my real Swiss Arms rifle. It's the best airsoft Sig line out there, and I think one of the best made airsoft rifles in existence.

Captncouth January 31st, 2013 06:00

my Echo 1 (VFC) XCR and old faithful, G&G MP5 A5 max series.

War-Lock January 31st, 2013 13:37
