Hicapa 7.0

No, that's not a typo.

Some may think it's awesome, some may think it's retarded.
I think it's unique. And also awesome and retarded.

:D

Just got the slide parts today and put it together. Also has a Tanio Koba grip, as you can see.
I mainly did this because I used the stock gun in CQB and loved how it performed, so I'm going to be using this as a CQB primary with even better performance.
Questions, comments?

i know its not a single stack but...wanna do a hitman dual hardballers? lol

Daiviet October 17th, 2008 19:08

its nice, definitly unique. If anything though i'd try to find a 6" frame to go along with it or something, it looks slightly unbalanced

The Acer October 17th, 2008 19:10

looking good styrak, i think that 7 inch slide kit is looking stellar

The Saint October 17th, 2008 19:11

I, too, think that a longer frame would make it look more balanced.

What's the gas consumption like?

Don't know, but it's a plastic slide so not much different than the stock slide methinks.
I also have a 150% recoil spring, a stock recoil spring, and the one that came with this slide, which is closer to the 150% spring.
Keeping it with the stock recoil to keep it workable in cooler temperatures and load reliably after shooting rapidly.

RICKBO October 17th, 2008 19:13

you should get that shit engraved. Get some fancy cursive "Styrak Arms" or something.

m102404 October 17th, 2008 19:36

Put it on a 4.3 frame...for super exaggeration!

4.3 frames are actually the same or longer I believe. They have a full frame.

And have someone with really small hands hold it.

the_griffinator October 17th, 2008 19:43

where can I get one?

Lakonian October 17th, 2008 20:03

Plastic slide? .... wtf?

Yeah? What's wrong with that?
If there was a metal version I'd get it, but no such luck.

Doesn't look plastic. I thought it was monkey metal at first, then wasn't too sure.

Cassius October 17th, 2008 20:54

hahaha, awesome mate! You've anime'd it.

NO!

Yuck.

Totally not my cup of tea. But I don't like any hicapa for that matter.

100 points for having the most unique hicapa I've ever seen though.

safx October 17th, 2008 21:20

I like it, looks badass.

Don't like the railmount
with that look though.

Moderate October 17th, 2008 21:44

I usually like long hand guns (no sexual innuendo intended), but this isn't my cup of tea. It's very unique though ;)

RacingManiac October 17th, 2008 21:57

Epic win....I don't know who makes a 7" frame, but YOU NEED ONE......

Ronan October 17th, 2008 22:57

It's awesomely retarded, worthy of you Styrak :D

Wilson October 17th, 2008 23:01

Does it fit in a holster?

RacingManiac October 17th, 2008 23:36

I'd imagine if you can fit Hi-Capa in a holster in the first place, you could fit a 7" one in....as long as its open bottom....just a funky draw though...

Bissa October 17th, 2008 23:54

if i ever find a metal version of that, i know what i want to do with my hi-Cappa. styrak, where did you get that one?

m102404 October 17th, 2008 23:59

Reminds me of an AMT Hardballer...just couldn't remember the name of it earlier and it was driving me nuts.

Yeah it should fit in my 1911 SERPA that I used with the 5.1 slide cause it's open-bottom and the gun is the same dimensions otherwise.

I got the 4 Nineball parts (plastic slide, recoil set, metal outer barrel, and tightbore inner barrel) from AirsoftGlobal.

arman October 18th, 2008 04:58

thats some sex there man.... nice

oOMuDOo October 18th, 2008 07:12

its very nice Styrak.

Amos October 18th, 2008 14:26

... Strange.

ROB JONES October 18th, 2008 15:43

Nice gun, maybe add a silencer for some over the top look. You just wanted to hold 7 inches in your hand for a change? jk

Optimus88 October 18th, 2008 16:26

put a compensator on it, then mod the comp to fit a silencer and it'll be perfect.

Lol. I did this because I wanted more range, power, and accuracy for my indoor primary.
Not that the stock TM Hicapa 5.1 lacks in power or range, but more is better right?! I also did it because it's very unique.

Hehe, that would be a bit much.

No it wouldn't. Just put a vertical grip on it to support the front.

While you're at it, add in a folding rear stock to fully support the entire beast.

I'd love to see this done... it'd be a beast like the WA Gigant.

Captain Tenneal October 19th, 2008 12:55

This is the Nine-Ball EXTRA LONG slide kit for the 5.1 right? (I'm assuming so because they're the only ones with a 7" slide, barrel and inner barrel in plastic AFAIK)

Ah yes, the Gigant :P Has anyone discovered what that giant spike was for on the darned thing?

And, for future information: Nine-Ball SAS kit with ridiculously long suppressor and a vert front grip, is kinda comfortable...

Crunchmeister October 19th, 2008 12:56

Hmm... sort of torn about this one. On one hand, it's quite unusual, and seeing how so many people have Hi-Capas, this makes it stand out. On the other hand, not sure I like the extra length much. I think the "awesome and retarded" describes it well.

Schlyder October 19th, 2008 12:58

Mount a grenade launcher to it. LOL It looks good Styrak.

Plastic inner barrel? Wha?
No, the outer and inner barrel are both metal
And yes, it is all Nineball parts.

Styrak October 23rd, 2008 18:53

Update: 7 inch slide wasn't working, starting jamming all the time.

Now I don't really wanna waste all that money, so I'll just be using the 7 inch outer and inner barrel with my 5.1 metal slide.

May be a little different, but I think it'll grow on me. The barrel looks HUGE when the slide is back though.

NOW you need a comp on THAT barrel....a modern day Walther P38...lol
