If your right handed stick your head and right arm in the loop.http://www.eagleindustries.com/produ...&cat=15&page=1

Three point slings are meant to go over the shooting shoulder, not the support shoulder.

zone 69 February 6th, 2009 16:19

Putting it over my support left shoulder useing a 3 point sling seems to work best for me being right handed. But you could use it that way too.

CDN_Stalker February 6th, 2009 17:49

Fair enough but they are designed to be over the firing shoulder, that way they are in a ready firing position.

The sling he linked is funny, that's a two point sling, yet they call it a three point.

This is patrol or Israeli style (read lazy :p) Three point slings are obsolete with more advanced two point slings on the market. The correct way is what Stalker said, over the strong shoulder under the weak arm.

The sling linked to in the first post is two point.

The sling in the picture above is three point.

fixed

Farmboy February 6th, 2009 21:08

Wow that is a ghey link.

Anyone who puts their sling on, so it falls on top of their side arm is right the F*&^ out of er.

Here watch a pro.

I used it on both side (right and wrong). In the end, it depend on what you like and how it fit with your weapon and gear.

I've used static 2 point slings for years. When I started this I wound up with a 2 point adjustable that I always left as is because when you hit the release it's like you've dumped out a bowl of spaghetti. In other words not so good.

I got a used Vickers sling from Mike-L on here, (not Farmboy) and it it so simple it's really not funny. If you need instructions and help to hang a sling on your rifle, or your rifle on yourself you might want to think again about what'll happen when the sling get tangled around your vest as you're trying to transition.

I bought pantac tactical sling II and i have trouble fiting Red Circled part in my M4 stock.

Yellow circled part fit in but i think it shoud wrap over the top part of stock not under part of it. Yellow part is too short to warp over.

Did I buy wrong sling?

thanks

That looks like it might be for a full stock.
