Help!!! CA M4 or KWA KM4A1
 

Hi all,

I'm torn between the one year old ($280) CA Metal Body M4 RIS with alot of upgrade or the 6 months old barely used ($250) stock KWA KM4A1.

Spec for the CA M4
RIS
1 High Cap Mag
Crane Stock Battery & charger
Tightbore Barrel
Systema Reinforced Gearbox:
Systema gears (Spur and Sector Gear)
CA Bevel gear
Systema 110 spring
TM piston head
Endplate Sling Adapter

Just newly installed:
Sysema Area 1000
Guarder Piston
Guarder spring guide
CA M15 Sniper Grip w/Low Noise Plate

if the KWA hasn't been opened and is like new. Buy it. Who knows what has been done to, or damaged in the CA.

It's opened and the guy put around 2000 bb through it.

Why the hell wouldn't you buy a new gun?

Because he wants to save $50.

And because it seems like everyone said to buy a brand name one. Beside the CA has alot of upgrade

Upgrades are only worth their salt if the person who installed them are competent. Used upgrades are worth less.

Buy a brand new gun. Seriously. CA/KWA... Whatever. Used, at those prices, are bad.

But the KWA is not brand new. It's been used. The guy put around 2000 round through it in his backyard. The gun never been to a game though.

I'm the one telling you to buy a brand NEW gun.

Go to a store. Buy one there. 2k rounds is potentially more then $50 of damage.

if it takes you 5 hours to fix the gun, and you value your time at $10 an hour. You might as well have just bought a new one.

If only our CA's were under 400$.....

for ~$300,you can get a number of high end M4s..

G&P, VFC, CA come to mind.

KWA period.

Buy it brand new for that much.

Or you can come north and get a Cansoft.

Why would you wish that upon someone who lives in a nation that allows them to get the real thing without the hassle we do?!

I can get a SKS for that much.

The specs on the upgrades on the CA are pretty high end. Inspect it yourself or get a gun doctor to inspect it.

I would go for the CA personally. You are in the US though, you have a lot of choice, used or new. We don't have that here.

And you can get a Norinco M14S here for about $400 whereas a TM M14 will run you between $600-$1000 here in Canuckistan.
