CADPAT Fleece Jacket
For those who visited Army Issue and were disappointed that one size XS was available....
It took me a while to find a manufacturer, so you too can stop lusting after them. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Canadian-Digi...item588a3f8d40 I'll let you know when I find a proper (not Propper) multicam fleece. Time plug the ethernet into the back of my skull again. |
made by Parklands?
|
Lol this eBay link is totally raping you.
49.99$ for the set: http://www.surpluspontrouge.com/fr/r...ital-canadien/ |
My store is called Army Issue, not Army Kinda-like or Army Type or Army Paki-Made.
That fleece looks good, but the panels look like ass. Compare. http://images.cloud.worthpoint.com/w...8a19b07c56.jpghttp://i.ebayimg.com/13/!BvRg7egBmk~...PY9E!~~_12.JPG Army Issue, worth waiting for. But if you want the knock off let me know, I'll get it for you. Quote:

SGS is a canadian company. Some of their products are made in Canada with Canadian materials, other overseas (mainly Pakistan and China). Depends which one.

So this is Army Issue gear? http://www.armyissue.com/store/index...parklands.html - this is Army kinda like http://www.armyissue.com/store/index...ck-cadpat.html - Army kinda like http://www.armyissue.com/store/index...dor-green.html - Not Paki made, but it is made overseas in China AFAIK http://www.armyissue.com/store/index...ck-condor.html - Condor/Chinese made copy of Camelbak BFM You do have a lot of legit Military gear, but you also sell a lot of overseas, repro, etc gear http://www.armyissue.com/store/index...g-vest-cf.html - Also just a FYI because I just saw this. This isn't an Engineer specific vest, it was the generic LBV vest issued to everyone on tour- Infantry, Engineers, Arty, MSE Ops, etc |
haters gonna hate. Lol

As the Military is not as light on its feet as it could be. I've been helping the troopies get the gear they need for the job. I'm proud to support our troopies in more than just a sticker on my bumper. I had a feeling that there would be some one clipping my heels as I made the post, but I'm suprised at you. You don't want me to carry the issue or the copies or even the Good Stuff that the guys need. I've made the same remark a few times in the shop about "army kinda like" and most uderstand that no one wants a used T shirt or a second hand GI cap. As for the engineer vest you are right, it was a general issue vest but he only persons that were using it lately are engineers, and I believe it's in the AR Cadpat that it still being issued. http://forums.army.ca/forums/index.p...ach=2535;image We'll the only place you'll find all issue gear is the QM's unless its something you really need like CF small Red & White flags that they just don't fkn have or Boot blousers, or Red filters or an extra pair of boots or some green rain wear or an OD shemagh, or some MILS compasses or have you got the idea yet? I dunno why you come out after me every time MikeL, but hey I guess it nice tha you keep thinking of me. Cheers But back to my original point I get all kinds of stuff in here but if you are buying some thing made in Pakistan I won't tell you it's Issue, I'll tell you its not the real deal and if you still want it I'll take your money and see you in a couple weeks again. :) |
Not hating on you, I have no ill feelings towards you.. I've even bought some things from you. Just questioned that statement you made that you sell "Army Issue stuff, not army kinda like, etc" When you do sell it all, just like a majority of other stores. Which is perfectly acceptable, especially since like you said a lot of the actual issue stuff you might get is used, etc.
Are you accusing me of hiding because I changed my forum name.. even though my old one is still visible. Also my old one doesn't tell you who I am, just what my firstname is. Your forum name isn't your real name, unless you legally changed it to Army Issue. Also, why should I have my name out in public? Should it only be me who's full name is out, or everyone? I'm allowed to my privacy, just like everyone else. Quote:
As for the old jean jacket LBV, the OD one was general issue I believe from the mid '90s on for Bosnia Rotos and some wore it during Op Apollo in 2002. As for the Arid Version, that was made sometime after the first roto there and worn in Kabul before the Arid Tac Vests, etc were issued. The Arid version AFAIK wasn't worn only by engineers, other trades wore it as well. I never saw that vest in Afghanistan, just the tac vest and different private purchase chest rigs, webbing, etc. Quote:

Who is Army Issue? http://armyissue.com/images/stories/...age/jeroon.jpg Jeroon Vrakking: Owner No dude, I am one of the very visible persona's on this forum and any day some one can come in the shop and hold me to what I have said or take me to task over inventory. At no point do I have the internet to hide behind. I am not an agressive person but I do get my back up about the Business and some of your co-workers have taken shots at the Business before, not you personally. But in a public and loud way I need to be clearer about what Army Issue does and does not do. As the previous posts of the Army-ish fleece are not Issue and I felt slighted by the prose that Barf chose. I may have over emphasied, Dude I sell Pants, and used stronger terms than I intended.(Today, 01:01am) Up late. Not hatin', I enjoy these vollies we exchange, it makes me dig deeper, The shitty fleece sets will be available at Army Issue for $50.00 a set before the weekend. If I have customers here that I can help I will do what I can to get you into what I can get for you. But I won't tell you it's Issue if it's not. Barf I'll see you later, I just got a box of Knives in. |
