CNC WE Scar hinge plate- who wants one?
 

I have a proposition for all you WE SCAR owners. My friend is currently taking a CNC course at BCIT (if you are local you know what I'm talking about) and I had my friend ask his instructor if he is willing to make a hinge plate for the SCAR and he is willing to take the job.

I will be speaking with him and his instructor sometime later this week to confirm the details.

Details that I can confirm right now:
Material: Aluminum 6061 T6
Surface finish: 125L to 250L (brushed steel look)

EDIT: a technique called "radiusing" will be done to the part allowing stress relieving adjustments to the square corners.

Anyways SO...I need to know how many people are interested in a aluminum WE SCAR hinge plate. Because I cannot for the life of me find one that is in stock. For now I just need a show of hands who is interested. The more people we get, the cheaper it will be for all of us. I am not making a profit from this just so we're clear. When it is coming closer to the actual production date for obvious reasons, a small payment will be required so I know you are serious.

I broke my 4th hinge plate last weekend so I am pretty fed up with this crap.
I will post additional detail once I am more informed. I will keep this post updated.

Up for two if the price is comparable to what is on the market.

So far it looks like there are 4 people (incl. me) that is interested....if we can get at least 10 orders in, it will be cheaper than the TSC plate. So we still need more people!!
