Fps issues

Hey guys, been baffled by my vfc scar L, here is what i have in it

stock rubber, madbull 6.03 366mm tight boar, modify double o ring cylinder head, type 1 ported modify cylinder, modify aluminum piston head, madbul green piston, and modify nozzle and i know crazy a madbull 130 spring.

I expected it to be over 400 fps, there is zero air leak, and it it is only shooting 350-358 with .20 I can't think of anything else it could be.

Is it possible due to the such tight air seal its decreasing fps? as strange as that sounds, I have never had this issue before. I had a 120 spring in there and it was 330 fps. when it should be close to 400.

any thoughts, anyone can think of would be great.

thanks

Problem is you have a boar in your gun. Pigs belong in the wild, not in AEGs

If the mechbox is sealing 100% with the tappet plate all the way forward, then the problem is obviously in the hop chamber, chamber to mechbox alignment, seating of the hop rubber, the air nozzle is too short, or your hop is turned way too high

its not because of a tightboar barrel.... You only have a 366mm barrel, you wont have problems until u get larger tight boars like 510mm.

But its more than likely your hop-up rubber. I would be willing to bet money on it. BUT if you try a new rubber and if its still isnt were you want it to be, stretch the o-ring on the piston head. Sometimes they come a little shrunk and messes with the seal in the cylinder. But i doubt its that. its the hop-up rubber

VFC uses proprietary hop-up and nozzles...

You replaced the nozzle with an after market one made for an other gun. Stop looking, there is your problem

It is known that SCAR nozzle are longuer. Though, I can't remember what kind to use.

yup. Hes got this one pinned. I totally over looked that.
Your gonna have to put the stock nozzle back on, or buy a hop-up that will be Modify compatible. I would suggest getting the new hop-up (seeing that you dont mind buying new parts) . This will just ensure the best seal/performance. You where goin in the right direction with getting all one brand (modify). just need to keep that going...

I think you're all missing the more important issue here
a 'bore' is the diameter of a barrel
a 'boar' is a pig
