Question regarding selling an AEG rifle

How do you guys sell your rifles via Canada Post? I'm planning to sell my ICS M4 in the classifieds but i don't know what requiments are needed from Canadapost before they think I'm shipping a real gun or something (ie. Need a gun case, need proof that it's a toy gun, etc.). Also, how much does shipping a rifle usually cost bc of its weight?

Thanks

Step 1-Package it up!
Step 2-Send the package!
Its illegal for them to know whats in the package, personal privacy!
you don't just go up to the the post office and say that you are shipping a dildo do you NO!they have no business .
unless you package it like shit, and it brakes open during shipping !

If possible, ship in the original box or another box with a ton of padding. If you don't have either on hand then a hard gun case will work fine, just be sure tape the shit out of it so no nosey CP workers decide to take a peak. I have shipped three guns in cases and never had an issue. Odd looks while waiting in line? Yep, but other than that, they don't seem to care.
Be sure to insure the item, and to pay for the signature upon delivery option as well.

I love your signature, really.

Canada Post as no jurisdiction unless it's an explosive or a flammable.

As the others said, just wrap it correctly so that it doesn't burst open while being handled like any other item and everything will be fine.

Funny story (maybe not so funny), I know someone who ordered two semi auto assault rifles from a retailer. They were shipped in unlocked gunbags and arrived safely to his post office without any problems or questions. These are real firearms ready for use, just no ammo. So dont worry to much about your Airsoft, everything should be fine:)
