So N00Bly, I've gotta ask.

Gentlemen, I have a few inquiries about where to buy guns, as I'm in PEI, and it makes it a little difficult. We only have a couple fields where you can play airsoft, so there are a lot of casual playing spots, and a small collective of information to pull from.

So, I know what I'm looking for for the most part, now the only matter to deal with is: Where to find such items, and how much should they run me, as well, give some recommendations if you wish

LOOKING FOR:

Sniper: Semi-Auto.

Preferred: MK14 EBR.

Attachments wanted: Strap, Grip-Pod, 8x zoom optic, holographic sight, Aiming Laser

SMG: MP7, MP5K, P90, or Vector preferred (No particular order of preference)

Attachments: Strap, Foregrip, Holographic Sight, Aiming Laser, STROBE FLASHLIGHT**

Assault Rifles: FN FAL, C8, ACR, SCAR-H, SCAR-L, G36C (Compact, with stock), TAR-21 (Preferred order)

Attachments: Strap, Foregrip, Holographic Sight, Aiming Laser, Strobe Flashlight

Pistols: Mark 23, USP-45, Browning HP/M1911

Knife ideas are good too, as well as what I should use for a knife. Are there any fake knives that you guys know of that come with sheaths? I was going to use lipstick jammed in to mark the blade, that way if I "cut" or slit someone's throat, it adds realism to the act.

GEAR:

Tac-Vest

Molle Bag

BDU PANTS/SHIRT/JACKET

Helmet

Ghillie Suit

The methods that I play by are light supportive fire, covering fire for one unit only if needed. Quiet, stealthy. I enjoy close engagements, and sneaking around. I'm looking for equipment that can help with this, as well as some guns that could be awesome as well.

Overall estimations for the kits you're thinking would be nice.

Also, if there are magazines available for them, 2-4 for each, as well as reloaders.

**ABOUT STROBES**

The reason I want strobe lights is they work to disorient, instead of simply providing light, and blowing cover. If you're going into a close quarters situation, and it's dark, the strobe is perfect to blind your enemies, and have a bit of an upper hand, especially if you move smart.

If you know of any helmets that have areas to affix, and strobes for that, I would actually rather run the strobe on my helmet than on each gun.

if you "slit someone's throat" with your rubber knife, prepare to pack up and never return to any game that i influence. A tap with the flat of the rubber blade signals a knife kill. PERIOD

As Rusty Lugnuts has said, use of a knife in a kill is a symbolic act, not an imitation of the act. There is a difference between channeled aggression in Airsoft, and psychotic acts.. 'slitting' someone's throat, even with a rubber knife, is bordering on psychotic behavior.

Good luck with the knife kill tap-out thing regardless, chances are that you'll be a far better BB-magnet, before you are collecting knife-kills. Not an easy thing to do, bringing a knife to a gun-fight, and getting away with it..

Until you get age verified, you aren't going to get info on where to get guns on ASC.

You would just be making enemies by reaching around someone and trying to slit their throat with a lipstick covered rubber knife, and end up smearing that stuff on their gear, so I wouldn't recommend it. Tapping someone lightly on the shoulder is much more simple.

The man with the oddly specific location profile speaks the truth ^

+1. Mud and dirt are fine on one hand but if you got paint or lipstick on my stuff you'd better watch your back. That shit does not get out of your gear mainly because of the oils and additives that make it hard to get the pigments and whatnot out.

Also Jordan, my location is pretty specific. You can narrow me down to a 6x6 mile grid.

I was speaking of that because I've only played with friends so far, and we've done things like that (We've been friends for many many years), and no gear, so we've never had that to worry about. Seabass, you can verify me at any time, I'm in Charlottetown.

I'm also not looking to go all out knives and run around slicing people like it's Call Of Duty, but if the opportunity presents itself, I'll take it, or stick-up.

Shelled Pants: I have no idea what you're trying to say with that. I'm not going to be running with it on all the time. Only during building-clearing, and CQB if I can get it on fast enough.

Im in grande prairie for the winter, your gonna need to get in touch with phil over at RIA, also if you have a building to clear on Pei please share it with the community. The boys would love to move indoors for the cold season.

he means having a light on your head just tells everybody where to shoot

Trust me when i say that you do not want to have lipstick or any indicating paint on the blade of your knife. If your going to try and grab someone and slit their throat your giving out the invitation for a punch in the goggles. I am all for peaceful resolution to conflict but if someone puts something to my neck and makes a cutting motion on the field first they are getting an elbow to the gut then a upper cut to the chin. Its not safe practice as well because this act could also remove eyepro or mesh masks from peoples faces causing major safety issues for the field hosts as well as the person your doing it to. Also if you mark up my gear and I cannot wash it off your buying me new gear...

The Keiichione November 20th, 2012 11:01

Also, Most field I know don't allow people to have lasers on there airsoft, too dangerous for the eyes.
