Unavailability of MP5's
 

Has anyone else noticed that MP5's from a lot of companies are discontinued.

Has Umarex brought the hammer down ?

Likely it's more of a lack of interest in them.

Also it would most likely be H&K that would go after folks for copyright laws and such. Kind of like what magpul did but they did it in a way bigger way.
They sort of looked the other way till someone made a good airsoft version then they sued them scooped up their designs and put out their own aeg. Quite smart really saved all the r and d costs lol

that explains why the PTS AEGs all suck.

Well the sued a china company and took their moulds and such.
The china company obviously opend up again under a different name in a diferent locatiom and keeps making em.
I thought the actuall magpul aegs wer spose to be good but im not big on trends and have never really handled a magpul gun real or otherwise i like my m4's (416's) and ak's.

i'm not looking for one, i just found it odd that on many sites the (ICS,CYMA and other) MP5's are out o stock and in the case of airsoft GI discontinued
