How to fade Multicam Cordura?
Hi Guys,
I've recently bought a ton of multicam pouches and a pack, I'm wondering what the fastest but most effective way is to fade it (to look used, not so brand new...). I hate the look of new and clean multicam cordura lol. Thanks for the replies in advance. |
roll around in a sandbox
I heard awhile ago people were creating wear on jeans by tumbling it in a clean cement mixer along with find pebbles for several minutes.
Use it.
Weather it like a ghillie suit.
Drag it around in the dirt in the garden on a gravel road in a sand box in the swamp in the mud. Hose it off and repeat while its wet. Hose it off again and hang it in the sun to dry |
Cheers for the fast replies. Gave em a quick wash and will be taking my kit out for a few days some time soon..
Soak it in Clorox (bleach)!
wash it in a standard washer drier with no detergent a few times in very hot water.....wear it alot in all conditions and get it dirty
Do what I do and use the shit out of it.
It the pack had a water resistant coating, don't put it in the dry.
use it. take a mud bath
leaving it out in the sun also may fade it, would be slower though.
+1 to leaving it in the sun, 2 weeks outside should take lots of color out

And it will fade over time. Don't be in too much of a hurry to have it fade. |
