VFC SCAR-H sector gear (V2)

-Is there a replacement sector gear for this? I just don't like the self-adjusting shim of this stock gear (has spring). It has 16 teeth (piston body side) and 32 teeth (spur gear side).

The spur gear also has a spring and self-adjusting but I just had a work-around to it, I removed the spring, retained the metal collar (for the shims to rest) and put shims. Now it is not self-adjusting. I just simply don't want movement in the gears.

Now the sector gear only has spring and not metal collar. If I remove the spring, there will be no place for the shim to rest against as the sector gear pole diameter is consistent from base to top.

So I'm thinking if there are other replacement sector gears compatible with the same number of teeth as I have mentioned above.

TIA.:D

It's probably a standard ratio set of gears (18:1). Just replace the sector gear, or the whole gearset (not that expensive) and you'll be set.

what is 18:1 ratio?
I just googled g&p sector gear for stock v2 mechboxes and the number of teeth doesn't match with this VFC one.

18:1 means 18 turns of the motor for a cycle (shot) to complete. It's the standard, AFAIK.

I'm pretty sure 16 tooth pistons are standard. G&P is sometimes known to use irregularly short strokes pistons. VFC stock gears work well, good reinforced gear set and self shimming works well. I even picked up a spare VFC set from a gun to keep as a backup. If you want to change them any standard set will work.
