Kwa rm4 erg - front end
 

Hey ghouls and gals,

I'm going to be changing out my front end and I'm just looking for clarification/comments that I'm on the right track here.

My gun is the KWA magpul PTS RM4 ERG.

This is the hand guard I want to use:

Inside Diameter is 40.9mm

This is the suppressor I'm thinking:

Diameter is 40mm so very tight fit. 245mm long which is 9.6"

I'll be running the battery in a PEQ - 15 battery box

I just need to find a compatible outer barrel. I'm looking for something 6" (not including threading).

I did a sketch to work out how it will look, See link below:

Basically my inner barrel measures 15" from the end of the receiver. 9" of that is the DD rail. Ideally I'd like .5-1" of suppressor past the inner barrel. Doing maths that means I would need a 6" barrel to have the suppressor .6" past the inner barrel. 6" barrel + 9.6" suppressor is 15.6". I also like the look of it based on the sketch and AR builder.

So does this work? Am I missing any parts (I am completely new at this). Can anyone recommend a 6" outer barrel compatible with KWA RM4s?

Be advised the KWA/PTS RM4 has a 2 inch barrel extension that is removable. I just had mine worked on by stealth from airsoftstore.ca. It will give you more flexibility with the stock barrel if the extension is removed. Good luck
