Where to buy boots
 

Looking for shops to buy boots for airsoft. Got any stores to go in and try?

It would help if we knew where you are...

Hero Outdoors is a good place to find boots, and a variety of other gear and clothing you'd need. But if you're on a tighter budget, general outdoor stores are also a good bet. Places like Sporting Life, Mountain Equipment Co-op, and etc. are pretty good places to look.
I got a pretty decent pair (Oakley SI Assault Boots) at SVP Sports Outlet for like 1/3 of its original price.

Marks maybe. It's not on their site but I remember seeing Magnum boots there maybe some Original SWAT too.

Lowa makes awesome boots (hiking or mil/tactical) BTW. Another one I'd highly recommend is Merril they don't make Tactical boots (however their hikers are awesome) but another subsidiary of theirs does (Bates) they also are somehow affiliated with Saucony (who make great running shoes too).

what style of boots? deserts, blacks, camo (ie multicam)? you are not giving a whole to to go on...
but i'd recommend some Belleville boots but that is my opinion.
or even surplus'd CF combat boots MKVII would be good

but stay the hell away from Magnum, especially the low priced commando boots, crap out the box, i had one and the nylon upper was ripped when i dragged my left boot on it, on accident, the leather ripped at the area where it meets the sole, just stay away

Your local Salvation Army has boots. So does Mark's, and Walmart, and Zellers.

Bass Pro, they've got Danner boots, my all time favorites.

I wear work boots personally, mainly because I need them for my job, so I just cycle the old pairs from work a little early. I know what a lot of people will say, too heavy, but these days you can get boots in Ballistic nylon with plastic toe cap/sole shank. They're a lot lighter, waterproof, full ankle support and as a plus, since outdoor fields enjoy using skids and plywood sometimes, if you step on a nail, it wont end up in your foot. :)

Urban Tactical. Bought my Danners there, and they also have SWATs, 5.11s, Magnums, Oakleys, etc. They also have a few brick and mortar stores across the country depending where you are.

Stick with combat, jungle, or mountain style boots. Try them on first to ensure their comfort. Any of the boot companies listed make an appropriate product or products, such as Oakley, Bates, Magnum, Donner, Lowa, 5.11, Merrill, etc. Stay away from CF boots, they are really subpar in modern times. A good airsoft/combat boot should be lightweight, very comfortable, flexible, have good grip, with good ankle support at least 6". Avoid heavy boots like work boots. Things like steel toe, wide soles, etc, are not what you need. Expect to pay $100 - $500 depending on what you buy for appropriate boots.

I wear "Keen". Not realistic army styling or anything but most comfortable I've ever worn and durable too.

I have swats, l tried them on in the office in Georgetown tuen ordered them from Oakville army surplus it was the cheapest place.
