Evike package stuck in Customs for 3 weeks now-anything I can do about it?

I ordered a handful of totally-Canada-legal items from Evike at the end of January (Inner barrel, spring, nozzle and a mock suppressor). Shipping to the border went fine, but at the border they went to Customs. Now they've been sitting there labeled as 'Sent for further processing' since January 28th.

Is there anything I can do to get my shipment moving again? I've had stuff in Customs before lots, but never for 3 weeks.

No, you gotta just wait.

charlie_hozz February 16th, 2019 01:35

Shipping?

I thought suppressors were a no go for borders?

I figured fake ones would be OK, I've ordered several on paintball guns before and I know people who've ordered them from Evike without issue.

Ordered fake suppress a couple of time with no problem
You have to wait when its going to be custom cleared then youll know the processs will be done and on the way of your sorting facility

You're not supposed to import suppressors, those are on the list of items that aren't allowed for importation along with AR lower receivers etc.

Might just be slow with them and they might be going through the package trying to price and tax you.. I bought some stuff from evike a few weeks back. Some VFC GBBR Vmags and black Multicam Kydex holster. They opened it up and I got dinged for duties on it and it took a while to process. Borders are tight now with this whole trump and trudeau squandle.

just wait it out, if anything goes wrong, they will contact you about it. Whatever you do, do not push them or piss them off, they have the right to out right reject your package.

I have had some packages from Evike stuck in customs for 5 weeks and others pass through in.less than a week. It's a crap shoot.

Well it made it out of Customs today, should be here in a day or 2. Crisis hopefully averted.

Same deal ordering from Taiwan. Ordered early January, and only received items last week.

If you follow your tracking on Canada Post and click on the link to CBSA, there's a notice on their site stating they have a backlog, so go figure.
