Look a lot nicer than the dull grey realcaps everyone's used to. I'm not a big fan of HK although these look pretty damn sharp. Think I'll buy some! They're available at eHobbyAsia now.

On the website it says it'll fit L85 and M16 series, so it'll work.

How can that be? The real L85 magazine is smaller than an armalite magazine ... unless of coarse there is a serious design flaw in the STAR L85 AEG.

IIRC the Star L85s were built to be used with standard AR Mags Alex.

Never knew Heckler and Koch made magazines for M16 variants. <.<

Good one on them, changing the exterior design of a rifle for the sake of convenience :-( That's really sad.

Alex, how sure are you of the L85 mag issue? I was under the impression that part of the reason certain rifles were pickd by NATO nations was due to interchangability of mags (FAMAS, Armalite family, L85, etc).

Edit - Also it makes sense that they are branding the HK mags for the L85, as HK carried out the upgrades for L85A2s.

The SA80 mag is the same size as any other STANAG mag.

The HK STANAG mags are in fact steel and quite expensive. About the only real steelers buying them are HK snobs who eat, sleep, breathe, and shit HK. :rolleyes:

HK has a line of Armalites called HK146.

OH ya. But wouldn't it be better if it was like a armalite mag instead of a HK mag. Its new but doesn't match.

More likly some one is going to make a HK416 or some bodys for the M4s.

VFC has a HK416 on the roll! Forget the release date though....
