Ill change the RDS once I get one that fits this gun better.

any chance you would be able to post a step by setp instruction on the conversion? also, could a guy not just install a slim style silencer, rather than chop the inner barrel? How is the overall preformance compared to the m-14's orginal preformance? sry, for so many questions on an old thread but I am intruged by the look of your socom and may do something along the same lines.Any more picks you have would be great

I cant remember the step by step sorry, its been so long since I did it. You could install a Slim Silencer but I like the look of the Socom 16 and I kept it that way. Ummmmm, the performance is the same as when it was a M-14 the only difference is the barrel is shorter by like 2inches or something I cant remember. Ill post more pice once I take them.

Out of 7 scopes, the Nikon looked the best. If anybody wants to buy the first Socom 16 based off a TM for 3 times the price that TM will charge for theirs, let me know. Mine was built with love:)

nice, but tritium sights will be nicer. lol
