BBs

I'm new, keep the insults low please:wink:

This gun takes 0.2g bbs when a bb has more mass do they make the bb bigger?

Or could I get say .34 g, and still fire okay?

If it's a stock gun, .34g will likely be too heavy and will drop early. I generally use .25g in my g36c. Though everyone has their preference.

Airsoft Guns don't take BB weights, they will take BB sizes. Generally it's 6mm, and any 6mm will do. Keep in mind though that you get what you pay for. Heavier BBs do not make the BB size larger.

For example, the cheap Canadian Tire BBs are usually only used in Tracer units, as they are not guaranteed to be of good quality, and therefore run the risk of extra jams, damage, etc.

As a new member, you will find that the search function works wonders. And more experienced members will remind you of it. Most questions are answered in the FAQ (Find the link in the bar above, same place as Home, Forums, Classifieds, etc.)

Another hint to make your life easy; BBs are part of the Accessories section. Post questions (that are not already answered) in their right part of the forums. It will help clarify the answers.
