ASCA website

Im just wondering why theres almost NO pictures of the products sold on ASCA.

Im trying to get a grip and 2 stocks but i dont know whats what because theres nothing to identfy the product with except by going to another site.

I dont know if its just a case of my computer being a royal POS or what but it really doesnt come off as being an organized site (no offence because i have no idea what it takes to run a company site or write the html code) and unfortunatly my first impressions of the site is not too good.

Again im just looking for whats going on, NOT TRYING to stir shit up.

Thanks

HoJo and Madmax set up complete photoshoots for their products, with fancy white filters and fluffer girls - it takes alot of time and they've been busy.

Unfortunately the time required to take proper website-worthy pictures of items is quite a lot, and when you take into account the constantly changing inventory, a lot of which is tiny parts, it gets very difficult to set up and take pictures of all the items.

HoJo and the rest of the crew at the ASCA are extremely busy between handling online sales and the in-store portion, where there's almost always customers inside the store keeping them busy buying/looking at stuff. Taking pictures of stuff just kinda gets left behind because often more pressing business matters take precedent (like serving the customers).

Most of the big items have pictures, and if you're unsure of what something looks like, you can always find a picture/specs of it on www.wgcshop.com as most of their items come from there.

I think alot of the items ASCA has is also on WGC, with pictures. You could always try searching for it on there and then you can see what you want, and if ASCA has it, then you'll be sure.

Why would they need to fluff an AEG....unless it wasn't full metal...hahahaha

so... does this mean that the stock numbers aren't accurate and that there are items in stock that aren't listed on the website?

I'm never sure what ASCA actually has in stock...

No disrespect of course, it's never been a problem for me, but I am curious. Should I just be sending PM's or emails?

Unfortunately the nature of the beast is that there are people, like myself and amano and others, that live close by and are there very frequently - so there will be some items that come in and get bought before they even get a chance to go up on the site.

I know HoJo tries very hard to put things up right when they come in, but it doesn't always work out like that.

I'd suggest that if you have a piece/part you're looking for, call in or send them an e-mail, they'll tell you if they have it, if it's scheduled to come in in the next order, or even add your item to their list for upcoming orders.

Good to know, thanks!

I kinda figured that was the situation, but I'm glad I asked.

The stock numbers are pretty much 99% accurate, we make mistakes now and then, or something weird happens, but otherwise everything that's listed is in stock. We're at a low stock period right now, but should be restocking and adding alot of new items soon.
