Importing shotshells

Just for clarification's sake, just wondering if the shotshells used in the SPAS-12 or other shotguns are able to get over the border.
The issue is in the FAQ it states magazines without cartriges are able to make it vs G36 mags and the like with fake ammo and will not.

So do the shells classify as magazines (cuz they hold bbs) or as a big mass of non-importable replica ammunition (essentially the whole thing being one fake shell)?

I just wouldn't take a chance since those shells are almost exactly the same as real ones, some brands have also copied the winchester box graffics so I strongly suggest you order through a certified retailer/importer

I figured so, i was just curious as to the situation. Maybe a conclusion should be in the FAQ just to clear it up

They are generally avaliable for reasonalbe prices through local dealers. Usually they go for around 30-40 dollars, you might save a few bucks importing but its not worth the risk.

They're not going to go off in a fire, so I don't see why there'd be a problem. I got a bunch from Ehobby without any problems. Customs might be rude and invasive, but they're not that idiotic.

If you want shells I'll sell you all mine, I don't need them since my M3 broke. Haven't even used most of them.
