Go with the Star or convert a TM G36C.

007Airsoft will be getting them soon apparently.

The only other place was buyairsoft.ca, which have since closed indefinitely.

You really need to read up on the reasons for expensive guns in Canada.

lol first it's not 60 in states...
it's not cheap like cyma or anything...

The less expensive JG is like 130 USD and i think it's the MP5 if im right.

those from 007 will be around 350$ Tax-in.

Thanks,
Union.

an SL8 either from CA or Star should be around 600 - 700$ which is the normal price for an airsoft AEG in Canada.

ArcticFox1984 July 10th, 2007 23:57

I talked to ken a while ago about getting some JG products in-country for me, the prices "did less then impress." But he did give me a bit of information about the pricing policy that stuck with me.

I wont give you the same explaination he gave me, but this is what it might look like on paper:

Price of AEG + Price of Shipping/Handling + Customs fees/Tax + Profit margin = Canadian price.

Keep in mind that some of that profit goes to pay for the expensive licensing and legal services required to maintain an airsoft buisness;)

So you can look at the following to see how what seem like cheap guns aren't so cheap when they make it to canada. Lets compare 2 guns, the TM MP5 A4 vs the JG MP5 A4, which cost about 220 vs 110 USD prespectivly at some overseas retailers. Ken sells the Marui for 470 dollars canadian, the MP5-A4 from Jing Gong was quoted to me at about 340.

The price difference is still the same as that of the overseas retailers if you work out the exchange rates, only the numbers are now inflated due to all the cost of bringing them in.
