Tokyo Marui M92F Crome
I just bought a Tokyo Marui M92F chrome from www.depot53.com on clearance for $99.99 plus shipping. I have looked at a bunch of sites but none gave me a very definitive answer to weather it is alright to use "green gas" or propane gas with this gun.

If you live in canada, dont expect that gun to arrive. Dont expect to get your money back either.

& yes the TM 92 should be able to withstand propane for at least 1000 +/- rounds. There will be some definite wear on the slide catch, and you will eventually need to get a metal slide.

Oh that was mature.
|
Where could i find a metal slide and would you be able to replace the slide catch?
|
Are you American or Canadian?

If you're an American, there should be plenty of online shops you get a metal frame from.
Since we can't buy metal frames from American retailers, you're asking the wrong people. An American forum would make a more logical hangout. |
the slide catch itsself wont be very worn, just the slide.

thanks for your help
and i herd that you can use computer duster for gas instead of 134a gas does that have any long term consequences that you know of |
Nope. In the same sense that green is propane, duster is 134a!
(Tetra)florithane is slightly better, (dura)florithane might wreck your seals & is about 10 feet per second slower. The difference can be found on the side of the can. (they both cost the same $) Enjoy your gbb :) |
