Just wondering how many here get dressed up and can't stop addoring yourself in the mirror? I know I love my kit but are the rest of you as bad as me when it comes to looking at all dolled up?

When I first got my WW2 Kit I wore it a good few hours while playing Day of Defeat.......I Mean...Ah Nuts. Err....Ah Nuts.

Yupp. Everytime I get a new gun, or new piece of kit... 10 minutes is spent in front of the mirror. Mainly to get squared away, and look professional (can't look pro, if you got straps coming from every direction) .. But yeah, some vanity is most definitely present. :D

I hate to say it, but ya.....when i got my m4 i ended up gearing up and doing a few mag changes in full gear....but seriously if no one was interested in the way we look with our guns and gear then we would all be running around with mags in our pockets. The thing you have to worry about is getting to the point where you see yourself as a "chairsofter"/ basement commandos...gear is meant to be used, thats why its designed...

yes i always make sure i have my hair did and nails done up before a game :p

It's better to test and adjust your gear at home first than at a game. :cool:

Back when I wore flecktarn I'd polish my boots before every game. Shinier the boots, the more accurate I was lol
