Bring Magpul PMAG 120 round mid caps on plane?
 

I know that i can import mags as long as they don't have fake bullets in them but does that mean i can bring them on the plane in my luggage? I'm also gonna purchase a G&P crane stock with a 9.6v2200mah battery and a G&G mechbox. Are those ok to bring on the plane? Of course in the luggage not the hand carry.

You may have a bit of trouble with the mechbox because it has a trigger...

Personally, I would just mailorder that stuff. You might be able to legally bring it in, but keep in mind that you are doing that IN PERSON. If they want to, they can stop you / search you, question you, etc.. They will scan your luggage (after you have checked it in) and it's likely someone scanning the luggage will see some "suspicous" shapes in there and they will stop the plane on the runway if they have to.

The mechbox will set off metal detection for sure.

I was in California and bought a stock from the Evike retail store (very nice guys in person, despite their online persona) and made sure to get them to write on the receipt "paintball accessory" - just to make sure I didn't get hassled by customs.

Not worth the personal delay and embarrassment / potential of holding up a plane full of people IMO.

If you took the mechbox apart there would be no need for them to wonder what could be inside it.

i would think it depends where you travel from/to. i have flown with my airsoft stuff but it was all checked bags

So should i get them and then mail them back? Or am I able to order straight from Uncompany and redwolf and tell them to ship it to Vancouver? Also, can someone tell me specifically if i can bring the pmag, and crane stock with battery on plane? They should be fine if not the mechbox right?

Depending on where you're travelling from / to, it could be more of an issue (eg: coming from US, Asia, etc..). Regardless, if you want to try it - I'd be upfront and declare that stuff. If you try to "sneak" it in, it could be asking for trouble.

Personally, I wouldn't want to risk it and end up with my name on some "list" somewhere that would make future travel more difficult. But that's up to you.

Much safer. Do what e-hobby does and label the stuff as "hobby parts" :)

Mail them.

They are not restricted items, but to miss a flight because of security delays would be a kick to the nuts.

They won't be seized if i mail them right? Do i write them down as "toys" or something like "hobby parts"?

I'd go with toys parts.

Model parts, hobby parts, RC parts, toy parts, hobby craft accessory. Ehobby does it all the time.

*Something I just remembered that happened to me once:

I was flying home into Canada from San Francisco for work, and the plane was stopped on the tarmac for an hour and a half. The pilot said it was because they couldn't verify what it was that they saw in a checked suitcase, and they had to find the passenger it belonged to.

They found the guy on the plane. Uber embarrasing for that guy, and he had to get off the plane and deal with security, customs, ectc.. He had to do the walk of shame down the aisle to get off the plane, everyone was staring at him!

Who knows what it was, but he must have felt like crap for holding up the plane, and he had to get off to boot.
