"A wedding to remember"

Lawyers Pinky Mirano and Rafael Ocampo Jr. recently sealed their lifetime together at the Queen of Peace Church, in Bacolod City. Pinky, the youngest daughter of lawyer and incumbent ALAFI president for Negros Occidental, Willam and Conchita Mirano, walked down the aisle in her Lemich gown, while Rafael waited for her excitedly at the altar. He is the youngest son of Rafael Sr. and Elizabeth Ocampo, from Bacoor Cavite. Reception followed at the Planta Hotel.

The ballroom of the hotel was transformed into their theme, Autumn Season, and filled with maple leaves from the USA, brought specially for the wedding by one of their godparents, Carlos Serrano.

A unique airsoft video was shown at the widescreen while guests waited for the bride and groom. The couple’s grand entrance began with ring bearer DJ Dy, son of Deony and Liza Mirano-Dy entering the ballroom in his mini army truck, followed by the couple.

It was a lively night of dancing, good food and laughter while wine overflowed until late night. Among the guests were the Sunshine Boys, the family of the groom and bride, who jetted in from various parts of the world.

The couple’s five-layer chocolate cake was designed with maple leaves and cake toppers featuring the groom in camouflage and the bride sitting on the lap of the groom while holding a bayong, signifying the couple as lawyers, airsoft enthusiasts and businessmen.

Indeed, it was a night like no other and a wedding to remember.*
