Gunmakers at Knight’s Armament Company made this concept gun as somewhat of a “joke,” building it in their spare time after work.
It was designed to have the ergonomics of a chain saw, and the firepower of a SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon). It’s based on the idea that heads up displays no longer require a gun to be held up to the face for aiming. Theoretically, this type of grip could be applied to many different weapons in the future.

That thing belongs on the end of a stabilized, man-portable camera mount.

I see a lot of fouling in the future for that suppressor :rolleyes:.

You know, with that headset system that Huang's been talking about releasing and an airsoft verion of this; one could do one hell of a Colonial Marines set up. "CQB Smart Gun" :D


I always found the Smart Gun from Aliens to be a little too long for real CQB use like they were going for in that movie. Still doesn't change that it rocked!

Is that a grenade launcher under the barrel?
