Trying to find a plate carrier.
http://www.surpluspontrouge.com/en/a...er-vest/black/
Out of stock and the only other place i can find them is in the US and Asia. Anyone know where i can find a black one in M/L in country? Cheers! |
You can try and ask Army Issue. He carries the condor stuff. Check his website or PM him directly.
|
Prefair has some in stock, but I don't know if they ship.
|
They can arrange shipping but it's not an advertised service.
|
Knyte with Warfighter tactical does frequent pre-orders for anything Condor. PM him, you can get sweet deals.
|
The other colours appear in stock, however I am assuming you desire black.
I suppose you could always dye it. |

Why do you want this carrier exacly?
IMO, there is more usefull and versatiles on out there that this one. If it's because it come with the bicep armour, they can be bought separatly for cheap. I got a pair from Pantac and they are nice. |
It's an OTV. The older generation of US body armor. So yeah it's NOT a plate carrier (I love being picky).
I'd recommend something a weeeeeeeee bit more streamlined like an EI CMS-PC / Paraclete SOHPC |
I agree. OTV are hot as a oven.
They cocoon you too much and are hard to move around with. |
that is a bit hardcore. just get a standard PC and find the deltoid attachments and do it all piece by piece if you cant get the entire set.
|
yeah pretty much its i thought it was a pretty cool deal for the throat, groin, and bicep armor all thrown in aswell. Anyone got any recommendations then? Ive looked at Pantac CIRAS and wasatches but this still stands out to me.
|
You can hardly be dissapointed by a CIRAS. It's a good armor combo, compatible with most stuff out there and it will fit with everyone.
I suggest you chose an OD or coyote, instead of black. Unless it will be exclusively used for CQB. |
Screw the CIRAS...
You won't be disappointed by an HPC or CMS-PC. The bonus of the CMS-PC is that you can take off the cumberbund and run front and rear panel only. If you don't need cumberbund system get an MBSS or RRV w/backplate(as you can take off the back plate and run a chestrig) There's a ton of choice in PC out there and I've tried more than I can remember... the HPC was a favorite but my CMS is quickly getting my favorite (I love Eagle Industries ;)) |
