Its a common problem with MP5s. I suspect you are filling your mags to the maximum capacity and this is the only time when it doesn't fire? Quick fix is to load 90% of the mag.

Go to candlepowerforums and you can pick up a cheap 6P or G2. Both put out 60 lumens which is sufficient for most airsofting. Get a 1' scope ring and you are set.

Apprently, this is a common problem with TM MP5s. I had/have the same problem with my MP5J. I tried everything to fix it, but in the end I just replaced all my lowcaps with midcaps.
