I test fired the gun again and noticed it felt like it wasn't striking the mag valves properly. I tried all 5 mags I have and it all turned out the same....

I got a TM P226. It's got some miles on it. After all this time is seems to have lost some of its gas efficiency. (I'm taking into account recent cold weather)

I just want parts that fit together...

I am not sure which nut you are reffering to, but yes I was able to screw the buffer tube in just fine.

Gun has been running great since the install. Thousands of rounds fired through it.

I find it helps to not shoot straight down the centre of the chrono but to tilt the muzzle upwards a little. So that you are aiming a tiny bit...

It would feed well then stop. I would have to tap the top of the mag (over the winding gears) and I'd hear it whizzz and then catch....

Those with weapons with large magazines do live with the consequences of their choices. A LMG user with a huge box mag, or a P90 owner is not going to complain that the M4 players can carry more...
