For me, its the AK47. Not the 74 or 74U, Just a plain old AK47. I've owned an m4, and an m16 too. But still, AK is the perfect gun for me.

I dunno, I just like the simplicity of them, and with my stature they're a perfect fit in my hands. The sights aren't too obstructive to the sight picture (I can actually see around what i'm aiming at. Which regular M16/m4 sights obstruct your sight picture quite a bit)

That, and you don't need to crank a wheel to get the sight to lift up a few centimeters. Raising the sight is as simple as reaching back with your thumb (Without taking your hands off the grip of the gun and sliding it back or forward. So its doable on the go.

Changing magazines is a sinch. I mean, on armalites its easy too... But i've always hated fumbling with a magazine and trying to aim the magazine into the magazine well on an m16.\

With the AK, its just right there, hinge the magazine in and you're ready to go. Thats another plus for me!

Mp5.

Yeah, I've grown to love the Aftermath Lycaon I baught. Surprisingly enough for a clearsoft gun it shoots quite well (faster and harder than my G&G ak47, but not nearly as consistant or anywhere near as accurate)

Much the same with my like for AK's, its a nice fit for people of all sizes. I'm only 5' 9" I think. (Haven't checked in a while)
Its just simply comfortable to shoulder and aim and shoot. I have the rear sights filed to be a bit more open to aim down, though. Can't say i'm too fond of the apeture style.
