ICS is not worth it anymore since you have SRC as choice. Both are clones, why not go with the one that has most candies?
ICS is not cloning anyone.

Actually, it is the first company to make an AEG that was not 100% based on the design from TM.

Also, TM-type hop-up unit are EASY to fit. You basically just need to file the front reinforcement of the feeding tube. Metal units are square, you need the front part to be round and close to the tube. Also use a TM/aftermarket nozzle when switching hop-ups and you are good to go.

But can ICS m4s fill regular stocks as well and handguards?
Not from factory.

The newer ICS can fit any handguard ever.
You can fit most pistol grips, but you have to file down the front vertical edge about 1-2 mm for a perfect fit.

For stocks, you have to modify the stock prong, or use an ICS buffer tube. Stock prong is made tappered towards the end. That causes most buffer tubes to get stuck about 1/2" from the end of it. You can file down the two tabs to make them thinner and narrower. That is a permanent mod and allows you to fit both ICS and other stocks.
