Your gun wouldn't be able to handle an 11.1v LiPo anyway, you need a lot more upgrades, a new mechbox shell, new wiring harness, and at the very least, a MOSFET switch
Keep in mind an 11.1v LiPo shoots significantly faster than a 10.8v NIMH. Your getting more amperage out of the LiPo batt, so a 7.4v 20C lipo battery will shoot as fast as a 9.6v 1600mah NIMH battery.
