A TM Hicapa 5.1 can get just about 65 shots...with the last few being substantially weaker. 4.3 mags can get about 55-60....again, the last ones are poor though.

A TM 1911 mag might not get 30.

A 50rnd Glock mag might get 70+...but not as many if you're rocking a full auto GBB.

Some upgraded gas guzzlers are hard pressed to get a dozen shots.

Most guys top up the gas in their mags when they reload BBs. If you're using a pistol a lot (or as a primary)...you're going to want enough mags to get by without reloading. How many is "enough" is up to your shooting style, how long the game is, etc...

Ambient temp is a big factor.
