I'm unbias, I've owned and worked on both.
What Wingmantank is saying is 100% true.
The TS Type 97 are made out of the same polymer that the real T97 is.
The ARES Tavor is not.
I'll be perfectly honest, The Ares feels like a cheap toy when compared to the T97
