The mags are expensive, there is a lot more maintenance, and they are loud. Most importantly, if you love to spray in full auto, you will be quickly disapointed. As mentioned above, the mags are generally 25-50 rounds max. I don't think I've seen one that holds more than 50 (which doesn't bother me, but does others). You'll find that you need patience. Dumping a mag starts out fast and hard, but dies off after a few secconds to a slow chug. Semi auto, or small (5-10 round) bursts with a good pause in between is what you'll be limited to. Unless you don't care how it performs.
Long story short. I LOVE my WE Scar! It is a SOLID gun, but when I want to hose people down, I use my KWA MP9R. 22 RPS, and I can dump clip after clip without any loss of performance. I get increadible distance with it, and it very accurate. I use it in outdoor fields, and easily tag guy's 100-150 feet away. So if you have the patience and can lay off the trigger a bit go out and enjoy a GBBR, but if you're looking for full auto consistancy try an MP9 or an MP7.
