If it says full metal slide an frame than it won't be cansoft. The NS2 M9 and 1911 are great guns, very reliable even in cold weather when a TM would start to fail. $280 is a very reasonable price for one, if you don't want to buy used you probably won't get a better price in the classifieds. I would just buy them from whatever retailer you're looking at and use the classifieds for other items you may need.
