I'll let you know man, I just clean up the motor slightly and it seems to be working better and smoother, and most importantly with dramatically less smoke. When I tear it down completely and clean it I'll test it again..


Edit: I just tested the motor after some minor cleaning of the drum and two contacts at the base of the motor, and slight lubrication of the bottom of the shaft with some silicone oil, I've managed to stop the smoking of the motor altogether, and it is now working at full power. I hope others can read this and revive their motors as well, this seems to be a frequent occurrence on the forum. Later tonight I'll take a picture of what (and how) I cleaned the motor.
