@Caspian: yeah semi + Auto is WAAAAY better, in a sense, than bolt action. HOWEVER. We play airsoft for the fun of it. And for me, a bolt action is so much fun! A DMR is the ultimate shit in real life, but for me, I just love the feel of a good bolt action! hehe.
@Amos: If you are the one who built MASAKO's sniper rifle... I'd like you to make me one too. lol. Now your profile says you are in manitoba... I don't know how you usually proceed for that kind of stuff, its not like I'll drive all the way from Montreal to winnipeg... lol. if you are interested into getting that little contract, contact me in PM so we can talk about what kind of upgrade you can do and what would be the cost... so please just contact me in PM if you're interested! I could save money for 2-3 months if needed... Cause I just LOVED MASAKO's gun...

You REALLY should save and either have Amos build you a TM L96 or buy a Maruzen and do it (or a TM and do it, all the same).
I had a Mauser. I also had a few clones and I had a Maruzen. I miss the Maruzen. I tried to upgrade the Mauser with all PDI parts (LV3 bolt, tightbore, hop-up and trigger). Every part had to be modified to fit and even then it was not perfect. Keep in mind that I had been working as gundoc for over 5 years already... if you are not doing all your maintenance and upgrades on you AEG, don't even try to upgrade a bolt action.
The Mauzer is made by Well, so both are equally piss-poor. If you like the look of the stock, try it first. The grip is extremely wide and not ergonomic at all (the palm rest is too square and you get blisters on the side of the wrist) and since it's two parts, it is flexing and creaking a lot. I changed all the cross-screws with steel ones and nuts because the stock screws where stripped. I also had to add some screws at the rear, just front and back of the adjustment for the cheek rest because the pressure from the locking screw was splitting the stock in two.
Only reason to buy this gun is to reinforce the stock and use it on a Maruzen if you like the look and feel.
