Well, sort of.
The magwell built into the barrel and receiver assembly has a slope that didn't seem as steep as the real thing, so I had to carve away at that too, but I ended up taking off too much. I'd try it out after carving a new barrel channel before making modifications to it. It might just vary per stock if you're working with wood.
Either way. The first stock was more or less just practice. I plan on buying another (Hell, you can pick them up for 10 - 25 bucks here.) and do some finer, cleaner work on it. Maybe a complete refinish too.
