The Classic Army is probably excellent and for the price difference (at 322$) I'd probably go for that, even though I don't like the 60's style ROF selector. But as a starter, the G&G is a better choice in my view because it's like buying a fully pre-upgraded gun. And the electric blowback is just addictive. It's really up to you. both great choices. However the CA is out of stock on Toronto Airsoft.

One thing I didn't mention is that the G&G MP5 is feels heavier than a M4. I'm comparing with a modified(full metal rail system and shortened barrel) King Arms M4 that I own. It may not actually be heavier, but the weight distribution makes the MP5 much heavier on the firing hand.

Also, as a starter, you may want to consider the fact that a MP5 with standard mags is very impractical when prone. I'm personnally looking to acquire short mags for outdoor games for that specific reason and because, as a medic, it would be easier to handle.

Whatever happens, all that matters is that you love the weapon familly you are buying to begin with. Too often, AK, MP5, G36 fans buy the King Arms M4 that everyone recommends to start off and end up buying the gun they wanted all along a few months later just because they don't enjoy the AR family. Passion and a little reason are your best friends in this decision.
