As long as the frame is SCW , it should work in his gun. SCW2 frames use a totally different firing pin and you COULD use an SCW2 frame but you'd have to buy a new hammer and firing pin. As far as I know, that's the only difference between SCW and SCW2.. they changed the firing pin. Everything else is identical. I have both versions and I swap parts in and out a lot.
