Thanks for the suggestions. I called the shop I got it from and I'm glad they would repair it under warranty. But they did ask me to look at the fuse and the fuse seems to be ok. There was no burnt smell in the gun or scorch marks on the lining. i checked the connectors as well to the motor (located in the grip) and that looked fine. I suspected the half cocked gear box, but my problem was also not having the right tool head to open the gun itself. The shop suggested that it is for sure an electrical problem as I don't even hear a clicking noise. I used a 9.6V battery from the other gun but it still wasn't reacting at all so.... I guess I'm lucky that all I need to pay or is shipping it back for repairs?

I do have a side question. With a same gun, can it be outfitted with a gearbox 3 from the original gearbox 2?

Sorry for hijacking the topic as that wasn't my intent. I only thought it was a similar problem. In fact, when i googled it, that's how I was led here.
