You sure about that? The Surrey , Poco & Vancouver ERT guy's I've seen have ALL used MP5's & C8's for cqb. There IS a need for automatic fire in close quaurters.
The ability to sheerly out power your enemy via immense gun power can be very appreciated. Sure pistols have the most control & manueverability but a lot of the time you need more power.
