bad magazines don't cause that problem. when the gun is upside down BBs should drop into the hop up with no pressure. Just something there to prevent them from bouncing out.
Was the nozzle ever changed?

I futz with V2s, V3s and V6s. I could be wrong... but probably, most likely not, as far as I know.
