Barrel wobble isnt that big a problem. I've had my M4 (actually and SR now) for almost 6 years and I've never broken it in half. Quick solution is to take the carry handle and bridge it between the top rail and a front ris. But that means buying a ris front end, so you might as well just buy the M4-S which comes with the SIR.
