even guns declared to shoot in the proper threshold of fps are subject to random testing when the cbsa feels like it. your manuals and websites mean nothing at this point. You have not mentioned what fps it shoots at, did you even get it tested?
ignorance of the law is not an excuse. Most responsible airsoft communities in canada will have had had many discussions on proper import procedure and what needs to be on hand or done prior to import.
