Thanks, good to hear I'm on track. I've read roadside picnic and watched the tarkovsky flick, both have great atmosphere which is why I decided to make this loadout. While lurking I have seen the more fallout/the road looking get ups and agree they may have missed something in the feel of the zone. I received the sks bandolier and have modified the pockets (10 pouches became 5)
So I now have all my equipment attached (will post another picture at some point)

I'm stealing that backstory, and kinda feel like my gear matches it as is. Might upgrade to a chest plate, and switch the can to dual hose for a sunrise suit look someday.

How are fields about lexan lens replacements? I thought they weren't allowed because there's no stamp.
