you're right, but I think he's talking about the lower priced printers that don't do CMYK. CMYK have different color "Plates" that print one over top of the other...

... sorry... got sidetracked there.
Anyway, my point is CMYK printing (from a proper printer, not a home job) is rather expensive. 4 color printing is a cheap alternative to having a black and white label.
That being said...
